Transport and parking
The Seyrtalradweg (R8) and the Ennstalradweg (R7) run through Steyr. The Steyrtal cycle path leads directly to the museum. There are several public bicycle parking facilities directly at the museum in front of the café. More information about the cycle paths can be found on:
By train (ÖBB)
Travelling with the Austrian public railroad company, you can reach Steyr via Linz or St. Valentin (IC train stop). There are direct connections to Steyr every hour. From the Steyr railway station, you can reach the museum by taxi or a 10-minute walk.
By bus (OÖVV)
There are convenient bus connections to Steyr from Linz and other nearby towns. The bus terminal is located at the Steyr railway station.

from Salzburg via motorway A1 – exit Sattledt via Kremsmünster, Bad Hall to Steyr
from Graz via motorway A9 – exit Klaus via Leonstein, Grünburg to Steyr
from Germany via Munich/Salzburg: A1 as described above from the direction of Salzburg
from Germany via Passau: motorway A8 (border crossing Suben), then follow A1 as described above from the direction of Linz
Parking in Steyr
In front of the Museum, you will find one disabled parking space. Behind the Museum (Gaswerkgasse), is a public car park. The car park is subject to fees and time restrictions.
